"Betsey Long is an extremely talented singer/songwriter whose voice resembles a mix of Christina Aguilera, Adele, and Beyonce. It is truly a pleasure to work with such a gifted musician and singer."
- Jennifer Adan (Songwriter)
Betsey Long is the featured background vocalist on Miranda Lambert’s Grammy award winning record, “Fastest Girl In Town.”
From a grandfather who played with Dolly Parton (Jolene) to a mother who belts on the soul classics and a father who played with Aretha Franklin, Betsey grew up with music as her legacy. As an aspiring singer in Nashville, when Betsey needed songs to perform at her live shows, she began penning her own.
Betsey’s original songs have been featured on multiple film and television networks including the Lifetime Network remake of the classic “Steel Magnolias” and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”. “#Nincsmás” written by Betsey Long, Huba Kelemen, and Pascal Guyon was released, February of 2014, as a radio single in Hungary. With Nashville songwriters, Jen Adan, Holly Elle, and Freddy Litwiniuk, Betsey wrote, “Don’t Come Home” performed by Holly Elle and was featured on the final episode of MTV’s, The Real World San Diego.
Betsey is currently collaborating with a retinue of hit songwriters and producers on many amazing new tracks. She is now putting the final touches on her latest project to be released in the summer of 2014. Industry websites, Kings of A&R and Hits Daily Double have touted Betsey Long as “an artist to watch.”
Garnering credibility in the publishing capitol, Betsey came into the immediate sights of Music City producers and executives. Now propelled by progressive grooves and peerless production, the sound of Betsey Long is sun-dappled and poetic, effervescent pop songs with classic themes performed with chops, conviction and soul. The songs she saves for herself showcase themes that are singularly personal and undeniably universal.
